Hotel****

Hotel**** Dobříš Chateau is situated in the northern wing of the chateau. The rococo chateau dates back to 1745 - 1765 when it was built by the House of Colloredo-Mansfeld. Formerly, the present-day hotel used to serve as stables and after the Second World War the premises were used as long-term accommodation for the Czech Literary Fund staff. In 1998 the chateau was returned to the Colloredo-Mansfeld family and it underwent extensive reconstruction. On 13/07/2006 a brand new Hotel****Dobříš chateau was opened.

This charming hotel, situated in the peaceful setting of the picturesque ancestral seat, will meet the requirements of the most demanding clientele.

Location

Dobříš is surrounded by woods on all sides and thanks to its location, amidst the Brdy and Kozí hory Hills, it is a sought after place for winter and summer holidays. The wooded landscape with numerous ponds is criss-crossed with tourist trails which are ideal for hiking. There are also new cycling routes.

When in the area, you can visit the Karel Čapek Memorial in Stará Hut, the Mining Museum in Příbram, or the Antonín Dvořák Memorial in Vysoká near Příbram. Thanks to its irrefutable charm and rich cultural life, Dobříš became a sought after destination for many visitors.
